It’s been said many times that we have a very important decision to make in regards to the direction of America. We have come a long ways since the day our Founding Fathers stood up in defiance of tyranny; we have experienced triumph and defeat as a nation. Complied of those seeking liberty from all corners of the earth, America has stood strong as a beacon for all who seek freedom, yet we stand on the verge of losing our own.

Bluntly speaking, we have a president who apologizes for our successes as Americans, who demonizes hard work and dedication by those who flex the muscles of capitalism through discipline, dedication and years of hard work. Since our Founding Fathers established the foundation of America, we have built earth’s greatest nation on the notion that each man is entitled to equal opportunity, not equal results.

Within the last four years, Barack Obama has apologized for this success, bowing to dignitaries who once feared us as a nation…not a country. Yes, there is a difference; a nation is a people, while a country is a land which a nation inhabits. Americans are more than mere inhabitants of a slot of land in the Western Hemisphere. We are a people who have come together from all corners of the world under the idea that all men are created equal and endowed with our creator with unalienable rights, which among those are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Influenced by a socialistic agenda, Barack Obama seeks to redefine the ideology which has built the nation of America, by subtly indoctrinating our society with the idea that we, in fact did not build that which we thrive off of each day.

We as a nation, not a country, face a threat. We do not face a physical enemy; we face an ideology which seeks to destroy our foundation. It is imperative that we realize the magnitude of the times we live in and awake to the sounding alarm of reality. The reality of the times in which we live in is sadly no longer the reality that our Founding Fathers dreamt for us. It is for this reason alone that I have founded The Reality of Times, for we must unite as a nation to oppose any notion that America is not the greatest nation in the world, the idea that we do not deserve to be the benefactor of our success, the belief that we owe the world a series of apologizes. We all may not be serving in uniform or in public office, but we all have a duty to serve our community by remaining intelligent on the current events, by voting, by taking actions as citizens of this great nation. Should we awake to the sounding alarm, I have no doubt that freedom as we know it will not merely be a bedtime story for future generations; it will be the reality in which future generations live.
